Hearing you I was wandering have you tried using hamoc ?
Yes, I had a nice one. It's a little awkward of a body position, and you can't use them in areas without trees.
For the body position are you referring to the classical banana shape everyone link to hamoc or to the more advanced diagonal flat sleep ?
And yes I had a look online the other day on your part of the world, tree are clustered among some more deserty low vegetation, landscape.
Mine was diagonal, but still felt like a banana.
