The Dapplist Frenzy: Hive Takes Center Stage
Last week was a Hive bonanza on #Dapplist, the go-to site for decentralized apps (dApps). We launched a campaign to spotlight Hive #dApps, starting with @Splinterlands, aiming for 50 votes. The result? Nearly 150 votes, a “Most Viewed Project of the Week” badge, and a whole lot of pride. “We’re climbing the ranks with the big boys—Ethereum, Polygon, you name it,” we cheered.
Hive now boasts 14 dApps on Dapplist, and our “Dapplist Friday” initiative is in full swing. Every Friday, we highlight a Hive dApp, encouraging votes on Dapplist, with all post rewards going to voters via @CommentRewarder. Last week, 83 users cashed in—proof the community’s all in. Bitbots Drama: A Hive L2 Controversy
Time for a serious moment. Hive’s Layer 2 (L2) is buzzing with controversy over Bitbots, tied to @CryptoCompany. Our pal @pharesim (Minigunner will nail his name one day—sorry, dude!) flagged suspicious transactions: Hive users sending L2 tokens to CryptoCompany and getting consistent 50% upvotes on their posts. A one-off? Fine. A pattern? That’s vote-buying, and it stinks.
“We’ve fought this war before,” we groaned, recalling Hive’s past struggles. A healthy blockchain needs legit effort—quality posts, real engagement—not paid shortcuts. CryptoCompany’s $400 account, juiced by 140,000 delegated Hive Power, has sway, but this “service” (their word) isn’t it. Compare that to @Hive-Echo: About 3 Hive from upvotes, plus Comment Rewarder bonuses, and a shot at 50 Hive—all free. Why pay for 5–7 Hive the shady way?
CryptoCompany responded, tagging @Acidyo and @pharesim , owning the “service” but pitching collaboration. “Hive’s great,” they said. We agree—so let’s build it right. Focus on your #game, grow your community, and we’re in.
