Hello Hive Fam!
As some of you may have seen - I recently interviewed @fredrikaa to get a little help clearing up everything that happend with the latest Steem hardfork that removed millions of users funds. Obviously a lot has happened even in the last few days since we did this interivew... but there was one part that I tought was really important to bring speical attention to.
Justin Sun and many people in the Tron community are defending the decision by saying this was basically what "Hive did to them".
The fact of the matter is that excluding someone from an airdrop is very different than taking funds they already owned (and paid for) and turning that balance to zero.
I thought i'd share a clip from our interview walking through that very subject.
In fact... can I ask for a little help? I just posted the video on twitter and have been getting a ton of comments from the Tron community bashing it - but very few from the Hive community so far! If you have a moment to check out that tweet and leave a comment - I think that would help show the strength of our community! ♥️ You can check out that post HERE.
Here's to hoping one day soon we can put all of this Steem/Hive drama behind us and just move forward as a community. In the meantime, I imagine those who are affected are currently assessing their options. I can't even imagine having that kind of money simply removed from my account. It honestly shocks me that anyone in the Tron community could defend that.
XO, Lea

Both sides will defend their moves, face it both sides have done stupid things, and what they might face, both of them, is to become washed up has beens. Just work on the platform you decided on and make it go as high as you can, forget about the other one. Already another social platform is first place in Alexa, that should not have happened.
I agree - both sides have had made some controversial decisions...but i just have a hard time imagining how people justify taking millions of dollars.
Two wrongs don't make a right Coruscate, both have done things a decent person would never do. They let their ego, their greed, and their arrogance take over (both sides) and that is just something nobody should let happen, because then you don't think right you just want to let the other one have it, and as you can see it always ends badly.
Someone has to initiate a way to bridge Steem & Hive to stop this drama.
It will only cause more harm on both chains and if this drama won't end then both chains will.
I agree. Every time I think the drama has slowed down... something else happens. I think this may drag on for a while because we are talking about millions of dollars here. I'm not sure next steps will be ... but i'm sure this story isn't over yet.
This situation could have serious repercussions for both platforms or the total extermination of their community
