I don't think the ghost piece is a great idea anymore.
If the positioning is exactly like chess people are going to cheat at the chess part with grandmaster analysis.
I guess analysis like this will be used anyway... luckily it will only help a small percent of the time.
Are you implying that players can forfeit the game to stop their king from taking damage?
Or is one king going to die every game no matter what?
That's an interesting idea, besides surrendering at the beginning of the game which I believe it's already included and was talked about in the long presentation of the game.
A player can forfeit anytime without taking damage to their king. We have debated if a tiny amount of damage should be done. Will revisit this in testing.
