A few days ago, I already uploaded a photo.
This time, I am uploading a video of the same flower, because it captured those butterflies so much better.
So why not upload it to 3speak?

Signing in with an existing account and by using Keychain, was quite the hassle.
This was actually painful.
I had to use an email. For what??
I can't see a preview of my post.
I need to separately upload a thumbnail. Like isolating the first frame was rocket science.
Like everything new, I don't like it.
But this was extra annoying, I think.
The interface isn't good.
At least I tried. Once.

And at least the clip was worth it.
Just for perspective: Right outside my garden, there is nowhere near as much life.
It's an agricultural desert all around.
This place is a real wildlife refuge.
While Climate Greta is glueing herself to the roads, I am actually doing something.
But nobody cares, because there is no money involved and I am not trying to take someone's property, or trying to infringe on someone's rights.
So unpopular...

I know right, the non predatory purpose filled individuals are unpopular to most, with slight increases in popularity around harvest times. So what does that say about the majority of individuals? You triggered my cynical" people are the problem" mindset ;D
The butterfly clip is beautiful and quite a lovely little refuge. I'd love to sit there and trip while looking at its marvelous beauty.
Oh I'm sure 3speak couldn't think of different storage options that may benefit the users of the platform and mitigate the need for such a high percentage cut, oh no... They couldn't charge a monthly fee as an option for long term storage options for users who want long term storage with a baseline plan that auto deletes videos after a month or two, oh no...

Even though I keep it minimal effort, stuff needs to be done, all the time.
You'd leave with bags of produce: onion, radish, beans, herbs of all kind, potatos, apples, plums, grapes, raspberries.
Seeing that actifit takes 1% and spk.network 10% of my rewards, without any notice before posting, seals it: not using this again.
I understand 3speak needs money to store the videos somewhere.
But actifit?? Fuck them.

Which easily covers the 11%.
First 3speak now Actifit? oh no... if it wasn't raining outside right now I think I would go and jump off of a bridge from the traumatic impact of seeing both of these mentions on one post.
