Hello friends, I hope you are feeling very well, I am very active drawing and practicing different styles, it was a New Year's goal that I am putting into practice because I want to improve my skills. In recent days I have really enjoyed using the payment receipts that they give me in the stores where I shop, I use them to draw sketches of favorite characters on them, it is very fun and I have learned many things, such as how to value paper better, before I thought I only had to draw on a specific good piece of paper, now I see that is not the case. I have made a short video where I show how I have drawn the great surrealist painter Salvador Dalí, one of the great painting geniuses of the 20th century who left his mark on the history of art. I want to share the sketch of his characteristic face which was very expressive, I hope you like it.
Hola amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, me encuentro muy activo dibujando y practicando diversos estilos, fue una meta de año nuevo que estoy poniendo en práctica porque quiero mejorar mis habilidades. En los últimos días he disfrutado mucho utilizar los recibos de pago que me dan n las tiendas donde compro, los uso para dibujar encima de ellos bocetos de personajes favoritos, es muy divertido y he aprendido muchas cosas, como a valorar mejor el papel, antes pensaba que solo tenía que dibujar encima de un buen papel en específico, ahora veo que no es así. He realizado un video corto donde muestro como he dibujado al gran pintor surrealista Salvador Dalí, uno de los grandes genios de la pintura del siglo XX quién dejo su huella marcada en la historia del arte. quiero compartir el boceto de su característico rostro el cual era muy expresivo, espero que les guste.

Today I made some purchases, so when they gave me the receipt I kept it very well so that it wouldn't get damaged, I had already thought about drawing Dalí. I made the sketch of his face with 4H drawing pencils, the tip is very fine and the line is easy to erase.
El día de hoy hice algunas compras, así que cuando me dieron el recibo lo guardé muy bien para que no se estropeara, ya había pensado en dibujar a Dalí. Hice el boceto de su rostro con lápices para dibujo 4H, muy fina la punta y fácil de borrar el trazo.

After making the sketch I started to illustrate the face with a pen, the tip of the pen and its ink are great for drawing. There are artists who achieve a very realistic effect in their illustrations that look like photographs, I haven't reached that level yet, but I enjoy the way I do it.
Después de hacer el boceto comencé a ilustrar el rostro con un bolígrafo, la punta del bolígrafo y su tinta son geniales para dibujar. Existen artistas que logran un efecto muy realista en sus ilustraciones que parecen fotografías, yo aún no llego a ese nivel, pero disfruto la forma en la que lo hago.

Next, with the pen I begin to fill in all the space, here I use circular strokes but without any kind of direction, because I use a chaotic style, I think that represented Salvador Dalí's personality very well.
Seguidamente con el bolígrafo comienzo a rellenar todo el espacio, aquí utilizo trazos circulares pero sin ninguna clase de dirección, porque utilzo un estilo caótico, creo que eso representaba muy bien la personalidad de Salvador Dalí.

Then I finish with the hair, here there is more chaos than on the face, you can see how I do the line, although it is ink in some way I try to make shadows so that you can notice the volume on the face. It took some work but little by little I was able to do it with a lot of concentration.
Luego finalizo con el cabello, aquí si hay mas caos que en el rostro, pueden ver como hago el trazo, aunque se trata de tinta de alguna manera trato de hacer sombras para que se pueda notar el volumen en el rostro. Me costó algo de trabajo pero poco a poco pude hacerlo con mucha concentración.
This is how the result of my illustration turned out, what did you think?
