Hello everyone! How's ur life? I hope y'all doing well. Btw, i just created a 3Speak account to upload a video in this post.

I wanna share u a story about my experience when i got an achievement.
Few days ago, exactly on January 29th 2023, PEC (Practical Education Center — my English course) held an English competition. This competition was attended by almost all the students who study there, and their parents too. I came there with my mom @santiintan and my little sisters. So, on that day PEC was filled with a crowd of people. Moreover, the building only has 2 floors and isn't very big.

The committee had prepared seats for the parents on the 1st floor. Meanwhile the participants were on the 2nd floor waiting for their turn.

This competition presented the storytelling contest and a speech contest. The goal was to improve students' skills and ability to communicate in English.
There were 2 storytelling contest, and both were for elementary school students. "The Rabbit & The Rooster" was for 1st-3rd graders. "The Lion & The Mouse" was for 4th-6th graders. In total, there were more than 40 students who participated in the storytelling contest.

But unluckily, i couldn't take any pictures of them during the storytelling contest. That's because of the crowd, and students who hadn't gotten their turn yet must keep waiting on the 2nd floor.

Then, there's a speech contest. The speech was about "The Importance of Mastering English". It was participated by 7th graders and above. But the participants in the speech contest were only 6 students, and that included me.

My participant number was 2, and that meant i was the second person to show in this contest.
U can watch the video above, that's me when i delivered my speech. I've also added bilingual subtitles to make my speech clearer. But sorry, the videographer started recording me in the mid-opening, so the greeting part didn't get recorded. And this video is a bit noisy.

Alhamdulillah, after about a month of practice, finally in this speech contest i won 2nd place. Oh, wow... it's the same as my participant number. Participant no. 2 won 2nd place. That fits perfectly. :D
And my good friends also won 1st and 3rd place. Intan won the 3rd place. And the 1st place was Rachel (@chelll) . We were so happy and grateful. Then we took some pictures with the jury, our teacher @hezhakakkoi , and with our parents.

By the way, my little sister Meta also got an achievement. She got 1st rank in her class. That was very great for her as a first grader student.

So my family made a small party to celebrate our achievements. They bought a box of brownies. We ate it with our family and it was so delicious.

Okay guys, i think that's enough for today. Honestly, i don't have many words to say in this post. Hehe. But, i hope these memories will never be forgotten forever.
I'm sorry if there's something wrong in this post. And thanks alot for ur visit!

See ya!

Ah, an English speech contest? Is that usual over there? I don't think anything like that happens over here... and maybe it should! 🤣🤣🤣

It looks like this post voting window is closing in 30 minutes. Still time for my vote, then! 😁

Of course, we're Indonesian, so there's always a contest like this every few months or years. The goal of this contest is to help our fluency in speaking English. That's because we're usually speak Indonesian and English isn't our native language. 😀

If this seems strange to u, maybe because your country already speaks English. 😁
