Stand at UCLA (DCYT)

A few days ago we were invited to participate in a special day at the K building of the Dean of Science and Technology at UCLA west of the city. This day, unlike the previous ones, was different since we had a meeting with the students on the day they were called to the registrations and presentations of the different organized groups (interest groups) that coexist in the university.

Among them, the Chess, Music, Soccer and others, being the music and soccer groups the ones that received more students interested in joining their activities. Along with these activities we were present with a stand so that all students who came to the K building could approach us.

We would like to make a special mention to the @hivecreators team, who thanks to the material shared on Hive's official channels, we were able to take them to project explanatory videos that caught the attention of students and teachers. Many students who have already attended our workshops and many others who have not yet been able to attend any of our meetings approached us. We were also able to talk with several teachers with whom we had not yet had direct contact.

It was a very productive day, which allows us to continue to reach more students in the dean's office of science and technology.

Stand en la UCLA (DCYT)

Hace algunos días fuimos invitados a participar en una jornada especial en el edificio K del Decanato de Ciencias y tecnologías de la UCLA al oeste de la ciudad. Esta jornada a diferencia de las anteriores ha sido diferente ya tuvimos un encuentro con los estudiantes en el día que fueron convocados a las inscripciones y presentaciones de los diferentes grupos organizados (grupos de interés) que coexisten en la universidad.

En los que destacan el grupo de Ajedrez, Musica, Futbol y entre otros, siendo los de música y fútbol los que más recibieron a estudiantes interesados en integrarse a sus actividades. A la par de estas actividades estuvimos presente con un stand de manera que pudiesen acercarse todos los estudiantes que se acercaran al edificio K.

Queremos hacer una mención especial al team @hivecreators, que gracias al material compartido en los canales oficiales de Hive, pudimos tomarlos para proyectar vídeos explicativos que llamaron la atención de estudiantes y profesores. Se acercaron muchos estudiantes que ya han asistido a nuestros talleres y muchos otros que aun no han podido asistir a alguno de nuestro encuentros. Además que pudimos conversar con varios profesores con los que aun no habíamos tenido contacto directo.

Fue una jornada muy productiva, que nos permite seguir llegando a más estudiantes en el decanato de ciencias y tecnología. Gracias a las autoridades universitarias por la invitación, gracias a @valuueplan por el apoyo en estas actividades.
