RE: Lockdowns Can't Stop Viruses From Spreading

in Threespeak5 years ago

Regards.
In Nigeria, like 10 to 20 people are been housed in a building, how is social distancing possible in such a place. I seriously don't see any significant or serious step the Government is taking to curb this Pandemic.
Regards@krnel you have highlighted a good point and that's the reality on ground. In Nigeria, The government ordered a lockdown and they believe the lockdown will reduce the spread and they advised the general population should take Social distancing serious and also wash their hands regularly so as to contain the virus but since then, the virus have been spreading like widefire, although some people have been released from Isolation centre. But I must say the lockdown has only reduced the spread to a certain extent but not significantly. There are inadequate facilities to house the COVID 19 patients in Nigeria.

Thanks for the feedback. That's pretty bad like elsewhere. Plus you do't even have many cases. The government just loves to take power over ppl when it has an excuse.
