To my own understanding, the word hope simply means wanting something to happen and believing that it is possible. But my Oxford dictionary simplified it in order to make me understand this word better.
According to my Oxford dictionary, "hope is a believe that something you want, will happen".
I started this article with the definition of the word Hope in order to try and make us understand the true meaning because in our world today, many of us don't realize that hope goes together with believe. If you hope, and do not believe that whatever you hope for will work, then it will not work out well for you. But if you always hope and believe, then you will receive what you have hoped for (Mathew 21:22).
Remember everything that is done in this world is done by hope (Martin Luther King) many people perish and their plans fail because of situations that have crushed their hopes and reasons to believe especially at a time like this in the world today when the COVID19 pandemic is ravaging and crumbling the world's Giants and their economies it is easy to lose all hope and believe but I encourage you all, though we may accept finite disappointments, we must never lose infinite hope.
Therefore I urge us all to hope and believe that this (pandemic or whatever ugly situation you find yourself in) too will pass and together we shall rejoice in the better days ahead.
