When I started recording local bands in my country I knew that I needed to do what I used to love from live dvds and concerts. The local bands didn't had nice live content and for us metal music fans that's really sad, because sometimes those bands with really good music splitted and the only live content of them has terrible quality.
I wanted to record content seriously, multicamera, nicely shot and edited, also with good sound. In time, I was able to have 4 cameras and 1 audio recorder, plus metal magic to edit.
This is one of our best video recording works for one of the top metal bands from Venezuela; Distrust. It was recorded by Rubi and I and also I used two gopros on stage but I couldn't connect the audio recorder with the mixer because there wasn't enought time, so what I did was to put it on the floor with one mic pointing to the guitar amp and the other to the drumset, but also I mixed those two tracks with the audio from all the cameras. This was recorded during the Sibelius Fest 2018.
