Very interesting. Instinct I suppose has direct responses, desired or undesired. Freeze, fight and flight being those responses. I suppose intuition comes with age, wisdom or at the very least, experiences. Thanks for that reply.

Instincts are mostly reactions rather than responses, which is another way of saying that unconsciousness is present. In a way, the freezing is an absence of response.
Intuition is always available and actually babies tend to have much better access to it because they haven't been trained to ignore it. As soon as 'parents' and teachers try to overpower our innate processes, they tend to force us to veer away from intuition. In general, this is the pattern of of using mentality to block out and devalue felt information. Intuition is 100% dependent on emotion but most people are denying nearly all of their real emotions, tending to replace them with mentalised version of emotions that aren't real.
