Blockchain technology has allowed us 'secessio plebis'. But, unlike the Romans, we will never go back to 'the city', we have no need to and no one will ever be able to force us to do so.

"Secessio plebis or secession of the plebs, was a form of political struggle adopted by the Roman plebs, between the 5th and 3rd centuries BC, to obtain equal rights with the patricians. Secession consisted of the plebs leaving the city en masse. In this way, all shops and workshops remained closed and it was also not possible to summon the military levies, which at that time also increasingly called upon plebeians."
