This is my second time speaking at Adopting Bitcoin, and I'm excited to share insights on the profound impact Bitcoin has had on the lives of people in El Salvador. During my talk, I explored how Bitcoin adoption is progressing across the country, touching on both the tangible and intangible benefits it’s bringing to individuals and communities.
From providing financial inclusion to those previously excluded from the traditional banking system, to offering a hedge against inflation, Bitcoin is transforming how Salvadorans interact with money. More than just a digital currency, it has sparked a broader cultural shift—empowering people, improving remittance flows, and creating new economic opportunities.
I also discussed how Bitcoin’s presence in El Salvador is not just a trend, but a powerful force reshaping the local economy, fostering innovation, and increasing global attention. The country has become a beacon for Bitcoin adoption, and as we continue this journey, it’s inspiring to witness how the people here are embracing this change and using Bitcoin to improve their lives.
