It may seem cruel but i'm glad people getting rekt. You know sometimes a painful surgery is necessary for healing. They just can't learn any other way. It's like babies getting burnt the first time, they can't stay away from greed and gambling and ponzi schemes and pyramid schemes long enough to get it. So i'm glad this happens to them because unfortunately all the talking and counsel in the world doesn't stop selfishness and greed which has been the cornerstones for the most part of every economic and political issues we've had throughout human history.
The earth produces more than enough of everything. The maximum happiness experts say can be achieved monetarily stops after $75k so most people are just spinning their wheels after that point trying to compensate for some other form of lack that probably can't even be solved by money.
So this is what it takes for some to wake up and come to their senses. It is a natural cycle and some will leave never to return again and it will be a revolving door. That too is necessary for growth. So i cheer when they get rekt .. I hope they get rekt some more and again until they learn what this is all about.
