Just a very quick video I took earlier today to show the power of the weir at Shepperton on the River Thames. This was taken during our safety briefing and where the kayaker was in the water was pretty much as far as I went later. The last thing you want to happen is to get caught in the “boil” as it’s called. That’s too dangerous.
