The horse that loves the guide
Will follow without knot or grip

The guide who loves the horse
Will pull with a light knot and loose grip

A tight knot and grip is for the horse
That fears the guide

A horse that hates the guide
Will break any knot, any grip

If you don’t love and respect those you lead
They will not be worthy of love and respect

If they love and respect
They will follow where you lead
It is most natural
