Our thoughts create duality
Heaven and earth
Beautiful and ugly
Good and evil

From duality appears creation
Long and short define growth
The low supports the high
Dark and light define the day

Through duality we see birth
Through duality we see death

Through the Tao we find rebirth

All things come as they will
The master lets them come
She lets them go

She moulds without grasping
She doesn’t stand against creation
What she creates
She sets free to flow through eternity

As human we are driven to identify preference, a good thing. If we don't know what we prefer, we won't know what to ask for. There are certain things, that don't just dislike, but absolutely abhor; and so we go beyond like or disliking and begin to judge that which is not to our preference as something to detest and be afraid of, to label wrong. Now there are things that can hurt us or hurt those unable to defend themselves. It might be do to call those things out.

Then there are just things we might just want to be move beyond. The trick is telling the difference and not treating one as the other. The short of it: variation from your opinion is not life threatening. Know the difference and don't withhold your grace from those who have created no greater sin than to disagree with you.

I agree with you!
People are different and therefore, there can be as many opinions as there are people!
If a person disagrees with me about something, I accept it. And I try to understand his point of view.

And by trying to understand, the mind broadens and strengthens; solutions become more nuanced:)
