Here in the USA, we have these huge stores such as Lowe's, Home Depot, and Walmart that are packed full of products. Everything has gotten super expensive with inflation, so I try to find deals when and where I can.

In this video, I show you how to get free garden pots, clearance plants, and 50% off garden soil bags. I also teach you when and how to find these deals.

Although we are the "wealthiest country in the world" I can assure you that the average American is struggling financially. Our cost of living has gotten insanely expensive, and people can barely afford rent a tiny apartment, let alone buy nutritious food.

Our food system is completely broken. Buying fruits, vegetables, meats, and dairy is outrageously expensive for a family. You see all of the overweight people in America and might think, wow we have so much food that people can eat until they are fat!

Well the truth is these calories are highly toxic and deplete of vitamins and minerals. Fast food, sugary cereals, and crisps are nothing but cheap empty calories made of the same garbage, just flavored with different artificial flavors and colorings, which are also toxic.

Unfortunately, these toxic calories are the cheapest food available, so many people purchase these food items for their families.

Americans cannot afford to eat healthy, so families buy the cheap calories to keep their kids full. That is why they get fat and unhealthy. Hydrogenated soybean oil, corn syrup, bleached enriched white flour, makeup a vast majority of calories of many American diets.

It is really quite sad that the wealthiest country in the world is also the unhealthiest.

This is why I urge everyone to grow their own food. Its an affordable way to control exactly what comes in and out of your food. Gardening is an affordable, relaxing, and rewarding hobby that can feed your family with nutrition that helps control weight and have a better quality of life.

You can then can, preserve, and dehydrate produce from the garden to eat all year around.

I am now done with my soapbox :) thanks for reading!

I only have a Home Depot around here but I’m gonna be on the lookout now!! Thanks for the info!!!

You're welcome! Make sure to ask an associate and see how their markdowns work at your local store. Let me know if you find anything!

Hello there!
These are some useful tips. I haven't been doing much gardening here in the UK, but usually I could easily get supplies from the local Lidl or Aldi:)

Thank you! We have an Aldi over here too, but its a grocery store. I wonder if they are related.

Hmm, I think it must be the same Aldi franchise. It's a budget supermarket here in Europe:)
