Working from home is awesome and living on the Central Coast, NSW, means I’m very close to beaches and national parks. Brisbane Water National Park is one awesome place near home, there are several beautiful trails in the park. On a nice day, I would get a sandwich and go for lunch and explore a trail.
This week, I went on Bulls Hill Firetrail because it does not seem very popular, I never see anyone parking there. So I thought it’s great for going to find a secluded spot to practice Quena.
Unsurprisingly, the fire trail path wasn’t special, however, I noticed some large rock platforms on the side of the trail and went off-track to explore. I’m glad I did because I discovered a marvellous place with view on the lake afar. The spot would probably be the closest to what I could get to look like Peruvian landscapes 😅. That inspired me to practice El Condor Pasa on the Quena.

You really follow your curiosity so you can find such a beautiful place and that's amazing indeed.
The strains of his voice drown the taste and really blend with nature. Who would want to leave and be able to leave such a beautiful place?

Indeed. My time there was too short because I have to count travel time too. Will go back on a weekend

I did few blacksmith posts in the past but my house got flooded so I had to clear out the garage for repairs.
No worries... To be honest I replied before watching the video!... And dayum the sound is lovely... You are not bad at the flute!

Indoor vs outdoor, depends. Playing outdoor is awesome but there are some indoors locations that offer natural reverb/ echo.
Like the bathroom? XD Though I imagine it would be harder to play an instrument in the shower than just singing XD

An empty concrete basement too. A cathedral or empty storey car park would sound amazing too
Play some spooky music in one of those and creep anyone who happens to also be in there/passing by and not know you're in there right out XD

I know. I used to live in Europe and travelling to the area was more than a day long
No doubt, I took a flight from LA to Australia and it was like 14 hours lol. Plus the time zones messed me up too lol. I'll get back there one day!
My longest was 31h due to transits waiting time. You exit the destination airport looking like a Zombie
Dang! No doubt you do look like a zombie after awhile. I went from Pennsylvania, to Texas, To Cali, and finally to Australia. I still remember the feeling of looking out the window, seeing the Australian coast FINALLY. A moment I'll never forget. I miss flying never been on a flight since lol. Ugh time flies!!
