7-Feb-2025 - Distriator - Issues related to Database fixed & services are restored

Distriator was down for couple of hours

Yesterday, there was an outage on Distriator.
Initially I couldn't figure out issue because mongodb kept throwing different errors.
Sometimes with error code 0 & sometimes with error code 14.
Luckily I had the backup. So, I tried restoring the backup but that didn't help.

What was the issue?

I don't know why but I thought of checking disk free space. And I found that it was full.
Even though data is hardly around 5 GB, disk was full to my surprise.
I ran docker system prune & disk usage was back to minimal.
After that restarting distriator, brought everything back to normal.
So, make sure you've enough disk space on your servers to keep app running.
