Yes, At Last is a great song. I always hope to convey the beauty of some of the original recordings. Songs like At Last offer me lots of freedom because the bass part isn’t a defining characteristic of the song. It’s also a good song/time to kick back and enjoy being a “thick”, “phat”, and “groovy” long notes, laid back, middle of the string, “big finger” type of bass player that stays sensitive to the singer.
You sang at last for Old guys? 😊 Sounds great, they need that.
