Looks like a fun gig. I expect the drummer enjoys Hawaii 5-0. Where do you put your camera? I'm guessing it's on your music stand.
I am hoping my band(s) get some gigs this year, but we mostly play for fun. I have to look for opportunities.

Those coffee shops should be a good place to get gigs. Not so much the coffee shop itself, but more like people walking through and asking you if you’re available for higher. Always keep the drums nice and soft, stay be hyper sensitive to a good singer’s body language, have lots of harmony and you’ll get gigs.
I make it sound easy because I suck at finding gigs. I’m really good at maintaining them, but I’m not much of a sales person… yet!!!!!!!! 😈👹💰
Yes, the camera is on my music stand. it’s on a clamp that attaches to the neck of the stand. I placed it just below the shelf of the music stand so that it doesn’t compete with space and my page management. It’s hard to get a good upward angle because of the mounts limitations.
It’s not the ideal location and using a phone is not ideal. Touchscreen are annoying. It’s too easy to turn off the camera or change the phones focus or something. I want a GoPro attached to the base. That was the best.
Good news though. I found a compromise between using my phone, the current mount and my old GoPro mount. I had another performance last Sunday and I think the new camera angle looks great. I like the view so far. Good change, take a look…
