An H-bridge is a circuit used to control the direction and speed of a direct current (DC) motor by reversing the polarity of the current. This circuit consists of four transistors arranged in a configuration that allows the direction of current through the motor to be changed. By activating opposite pairs of transistors, the motor can be made to rotate in both directions. Connecting the motor between the midpoints of the H-bridge and applying the control signals to the bases of the transistors allows precise and efficient control of the movement of the DC motor, adjusting the speed by varying the applied voltage.
