It was great to talk to you all about the potential we have with HBD, our algorithmic stablecoin as well as the future of the Hive fixed income market. We always need brainstorming to get things moving forward.

This can put Hive on the map very quickly.

did you read my post internal market v2? I think that could boost HBD

Great talk show as usual. Very interesting ideas around HBD, stablecoin implementation and fixed income models.

Hive has definitely been successful in stable coin space as of late. We not only have one stable coin but two.

It’s been fun to watch Hive and HBD competing for the best stablecoin title. They both seem to like $1 peg.

I think that HBD is a great source of balancing for the Hive token. Anyway, I would evaluate a for of controlling of the inflation, to avoid making it no-capped.
For example, swaps from tokens can start having some more fees to feed for example a Hive-Pool or creating some "malus" for people liquidating HP too often?

I've heard about the Value 4 Value with podcasts. Value 4 value with threespeak was new to me. Glad there will be some PR in the future.
It's really entertaining that all of you feel like having fun doing it 😁 Most talks/podcasts are getting boring the longer the series runs because they lose their fun doing it.

@taskmaster4450 @theycallmedan What Dan said about the main way we can increase the HBD supply being through Hive to HBD conversions makes sense. It already has a fee built-in - a 5% burn rate. So if the HBD interest rate goes up to 20% or more, people who want to get HBD would have to pay a solid 5% fee to convert their Hive to HBD. This is already existing. What Dan suggested also is that this fee, instead of burning it, it could be put in a place where it additionally backs the HBD. This sounds interesting since, if I am getting it right, it would be outside of circulation (effectively burned) yet it would still act as a backing for all the printed HBD in case we run into trouble with having too much HBD in existence and Hive's price hasn't shot up.

Would be great to discuss this option more.

Otherwise, I'm very much in favor of gradually bumping up the HBD savings interest rate. Go to 15%, 18%, 21%, and keep going up and monitoring things along the way. Adjust as necessary and stop when we have the desired effect (billions of HBD printed and Hive's price way up). And all the fees from the Hive to HBD conversions could act as an additional safety net.

Worth to watch / listen vlog as always. Community token talk bring always valuable discussion that I really like and appreciate. @taskmaster4450 always share valuable blogs and read his wise words and finally here I can hear his voice. HBD has potential and that could be reason attractive hive platform for many. I'm not good at holding HBD but I'll surely think and try it next time. Thanks Dan sir and all guest or host of this podcast.
