Yeah I honestly think the real "war" against decentralized coins hasn't started yet, we're still at the phase of people blindly just following where the money is for a quick profit, either following ETF potential coins or the ones they know institutions are eyeing. Meanwhile we're seeing sanctions against "freedom" coins like monero being forced to be delisted from most exchanges, wouldn't be surprised if they start doing the same with the ones they can't truly control.
Yes, have you noticed that Monero is not even listed on Asgardex?
not sure what that dex is, but there's a difference between not being listed somewhere and being listed but being forced to delist due to regulations and government.

First glad your health is improving keep at it! You're 100% correct life is always going to throw a lot of wild things your want but what matters the most is how you react to those things.
Also good updates and insights on hive core itself and the power of it. I believe we have that strong base layer now and now it's time to grow and build. It's been a little slow but there has been progress and progress is always a good thing! While also keeping the core base layer intact and a focal point.
Yeah. Can't have order without chaos. Can't have chaos without order. Sometimes the scale tips and you feel the lows. Sometimes the scale tips and you feel the highs. Finding the balance can be tricky sometimes, and often pointless, so just be the whole fucking scale. One side is down but look, the other side is up, and that's you, too. Can't have up without down. Can't have down without up.
I came to understand this all on my own, then later in life learned the thought process has been around for thousands of years.
And as long as the power doesn't go out for a few straight centuries or long enough for society to lose touch, we'll all be around for thousands of years as well.
As soon as AI popped up in its current form, gaining popularity, I realized:
That's from well over a year ago.
But there's more to it than that. Society needs this tool that we have here, if they want to upload a replica of our individual consciousness into the robot that's going to speak to our relatives thousands of years from now. You cannot trust any other database to be able to handle something like that. It's the only way I can think of so far where our actual thoughts can train AI in a way that can't be fucked with.
Imagine if those great thinkers from thousands of years ago had something like this, and imagine how accurate history would be.
In other words, we've been sitting here solving problems that weren't even problems yet, and of course most don't even know it. And I guess those cramming this space with AI generated content and fake thoughts: their "replica" would just be a generic mush of nothingness. But that's probably a story for another day.
I think a point you overlook in this discussion of the Hive database is the democratization of data. The censorship resistant idea didnt sell since most people do not care.
That said, the Internet is being locked down as companies (sites) stop the scraping. This means Meta, X, and Google have advantages since their data piles keep growing.
Starts ups are screwed as Reddit is charging for their data along with others. How do we decentralize if only the big players can acquire the data?
We cannot.
Here is where Hive's most important role enters: the democratization of data.
Hive is humanity's database.

Technical works HBD like a short contract with no buying pressure, I said that years ago and is still the same.
And since money is like water and goes the way of least resistance, I don't see how HBD will not become/is a toxic asset for Stakeholders of Hive.
Anyway, we will see how this turns out.
