Way back year 2018! #BPP NC II(BREAD AND PASTRY PRODUCTION) TRAINING

Hello everyone here in hive. It is my first time to post or share with you about my blog here in this community. I just wanna introduce myself first to all of you, my name is Angelica you can call me Angge or Angel for short I am twenty three years of age and I am from Philippines.
I do hope that all are happy, bless, well and fine.

So now, I wanna share with you how to prepare Vanilla Chiffon Cake but first, I want you also to know what are my experiences while I joined the training.

Way back year 2018, I remembered that I joined the training about bread and pastry production here in our place. Our active and ever supportive barangay captain convinced me to join. Because of my eagerness and willingness to know how to prepare bread and cakes,I accept the offer.

When the day when we start our program, while walking to our venue my slippers was cut off. I was so shy on that time because a lot of people looked at me. I run going back to our house to changed slippers. I hurriedly went to the venue because I thought that the program already start. But sad to say, I am too early because my co-trainee was not yet around and also our instructor. The only one who was there was our barangay captain who was also waiting for our trainor. When he saw me, she smiled at me and saying those words: you can do it and thank you for not refusing. I replied to him, thank you also captain for the motivations, trust and support.

It was day 30 on month of July 2018, I and my co-trainee wait our instructor. As our instructor arrived, she told us to prepare aprons, towel, hairnets and other things to be use in making bread and pastry. Before we start, our instructor gave us the procedures in preparing bread and pastry. She discussed the ingredients and its functions.

Bread and Pastry: Ingredients and its Functions

° Sugar- adds moisture, as preservative and adds color

° Confictioner Sugar- use in making frosting and icing

° Eggs- adds moisture, act as creaming agent and also act as binding agent

° Bread Flour- highest amount of protein, high gluten content and called us first class(class 1)


° All-Purpose Flour- medium content of gluten

° Cake Flour- contains lowest gluten


° Cream of Tartar- helps to increase the volume the egg foam and keeps them bright and white

°Fat- adds moisture

° Milk- adds color and flavor

°Water- gives different texture

° Salt- helps preserve the color and flavor of the flour

Leavening Agent: Baking Powder, Baking Soda and Yeast.

The imaged above was me and my co-trainee. While doing the tasked, it was not so easy why? Because you must be attentive and not be lazy.

So to start with how to prepare Vanilla Chiffon Cake here are the ingredients and its procedures.
INGREDIENTS in making Vanilla Chiffon Cake:

2½ cups- Cake Flour(snow sheen)

1½cup- White Sugar

1tbsp- Baking Powder

1tsp- Salt

5 Eggs (large) separate the egg whites and egg yolks

½cup- Oil (vegetable)

¾cup- Cold Water

1tbsp- Vanilla

1tsp- Cream of Tartar

Procedures in making/baking Vanilla Chiffon Cake:

  1. Combine flour, 1cup sugar, salt, baking powder. Mix until well incorporated.(#1mixture)

  2. In another bowl, combine egg yolk, vanilla, oil, and water and whisk properly.(#2 mixture)

  3. Combine #1 and #2 mixtures and whisk until no more lumps using the wire whisk but do not over mix then set aside.

  4. In another bowl, whisk or combine egg white and cream of tartar then add ½ cup white sugar until soft peak form.

  5. Gently fold the batter and meringue.

  6. Bake at 325°F for 30-35 minutes.

This is the finished product of Vanilla Chiffon Cake I've made. I put some decor on it to make it beautiful and pleasant. I also made Sponge Roll Cake a Vanilla Chiffon Cake Flavor and also a Cupcake.

CLOSING THOUGHT

I was so lucky on that time that our ever supportive and active barangay captain convinced me to join that kind of work/program. I was so happy that I experienced to made a cake.

If you want to know more and discover that you can do others do. You must not let your talents always be hide but instead, explore and enhance those talents that God given. We have our own uniqueness it is up to us if we share to others. Just believe in yourself that you can. Have a self-confidence and self-esteem. Be proud that you have a talent which others don't have.

In making or baking cakes you must put love in your doings to taste it best. To tell you honestly, baking is not that easy, you must be aware in all tools, you must familiarize those measurements in all ingredients because if you forget even one ingredients while baking a cake you will then start again and you are just wasting your time and mostly, you cannot achieve the product you want. You must learn to be patient and determine in your doings. But before that, you must wear proper attire in baking cakes or what so ever. You must not forget to wear aprons, hairnets, and you must have towel and mostly, you must not wear nail polish, jewelries because it can contaminate the food you prepare to be cook and lastly, it should be that your fingernails are short and put away those rings. Proper disposal of some mess, learn to clean the table before and after using.

I wish that someday, I have my own bakery so that I can used my learnings in doing and making bread and pastry.And I will be the one who will manage my business.

Look delicious sis @angge222. Ako wala akong talent or skills sa mga ganyan hehehe.. siguro kain meron hehehe. Peru siguro kapag may gamit at willing matuto for sure matutunan naman ang lahat ng bagay.

Madali lang siya ate sis,,,sundin mo lang yung procedure😊 ang mas mahirap at time consuming yung paggawa ng pandesal ,,,hindi ko na nasali dito sa blog ko paano gawin pero nagpost ako ng article kung paano gawin ang pandesal nasa readcash ko,,hehehehe
