How the license to kill weaker creatures for pleasure has stolen from us our empathy for all life

in Abundance Tribe3 years ago

In my opinion our morality, regarding the license to kill any animal, has led to the extrapolation that since a massive two ton bull has no consciousness or sacred spark of life or soul animating it, therefore a relatively small human also has no soul. Today matter and now all life is seen as a soulless commodity to be exploited, as a means to an end and not and end in itself. The subtle yet insidious slide into ignorance has justified, in the minds of the uneducated, the license to kill and cull all life, whether animal or human, and this is the height of our modern civilization today under our current circumstances.

You will vomit if you were to see the rot and decay of civilization lurking under your nose in the underworld of your affluent city or town anywhere on this planet right now. I’m not here to rake up the muck or roll in the dirt but to shine the light of the sun onto it so that it can be purified, because by revealing that which is hidden we open it up to inspection and rectification. What use is there to living in blissful ignorance and saying everything is fine when millions of feeling sentient living entities are tortured and murdered daily in abattoirs? We need to be aware of our own shadows as a society. We need to see how degraded we have become and get out of our illusions of modern evolution from more barbaric times.

These are the most barbaric times, and you will know this if you know your history and are aware of the bigger picture based on a broader understanding of history, as well as a deeper comprehension of consciousness and life. Life is not cheap. It is precious. It is not a commodity to trade on the stock market or to suck out of the bones of some lesser creature who lives and loves as you do. A civilized culture does not commit daily mass murder the way we see it in abattoirs and battery chicken farms globally. Walk away from this truth and you walk in blind ignorance, an ignorance you voluntarily choose to wallow in.

Never before in our existence, according to known history, has so much slaughter being condoned and justified by our enlightened leaders and their massive flock. The sheer carnage and rivers of blood would give you PTSD for life if you were to see it flowing day after day, year after year, without end. Never before in our existence have so many people lived upon the face of the earth to perpetrate such mass scale abuse. It’s the scale of the ignorance which is unprecedented. And the human trafficking of someone’s child or daughter right now is at a similarly increased level. Life is not cheap simply because there are more of us. Every life is still as valuable as every other at all times.

Yet our modern rationale does not think this through. Or if we do, we justify our abuse because that is how we were raised, in illusion and ignorance of the value of life. We are a sophisticated yet soulless society, raised by our forefathers on murder and death, upon the legitimized abuse of those we should actually be protecting. Therefore we don’t see how evil we have become. We need to be reminded as a civilization of just how dark our shadow really is. And by exposing our darkness to the light of day, by bringing it out of the shadow and into the conscious light of awareness, we can disempower it of its ability to drag us down.

Our spirit as a civilization has not merely been crushed, it has been amputated, although of course in the literal sense, the spirit soul it always present. Yet by using the education systems to teach people that there is no value in the life of a two ton animal who lives just like we do, just with a different language, we train those kids to condone murder and abuse. By raising kids to see life as disposable, we train them to see human life in the same way, including their own lives eventually. We rob them of the knowledge of consciousness, of what life is, the same life that flows through all creatures. By removing the foundation of consciousness and life from our education system, we cut that person off from the ability to feel compassion for life.

With stunted insight into life, with a short-sighted capacity for compassion that flows only as far as the pet dog but cannot extrapolate the same train of logic to the cow upon whose flesh we feast, we are raised to be enslaved by the dictates of our senses above the morality of respect for life. And thus, fed upon death, we evolve a consciousness that is able to then deal in death, via warfare and human trafficking. All war is based on a lack of respect for life, which originates in the ability to disrespect animal life by eating it. That is my personal philosophical conclusion is taught to me by the ancient Sanskrit Veda and the culture of our original history as a human race, not some modern version of westernized history only dating back 3000 years to Greece or to Moses.
