A lot of people say Knowledge Empowers one, yes it is very true but imagine gaining knowledge and then not having Freedom to use that knowledge, which is the case at large.
This hit me while reading through your text.
From your view, empowerment is being free to make decisions with the freedom of expressing our individuality and not to being coerced or controlled over making decisions not yours.
Presently, the way the world is, the people in high positions are trying to curve out empowerment in people so they can have control over others. My country for a fact is not exempted from this act. This has made life tiring and frustrating for many.
This all boils down what's the use of knowledge without the freedom of expression.
It is the biggest deception that we are living in, thinking we have our freedom but the reality is we are so much controlled, even now to an extent with emotional manipulation on your basic necessities of life. The real fact is that we do not have freedom to even breathe today and we talk of all the progress and achievements. Sad state all over the world
