My vision for the future, has always been around rewilding. Because in order for us to really thrive in life, we need to connect more with nature. Of course my idea of thriving may be very different to yours.
I have very few material things that I am attached too. The biggest being my laptop as it keeps me connected to you all and allows me to make a small income and my blender as it allows me to make nut milk and nut butters. (and of course my truck)
For me, the future lies, in moving away from material wealth, in being honest with ourselves and creating community.
As this year advances and as we face more and more uncertainties, the one constant we have is the earth. It is the ability to work with her, in order to work also on ourselves. We are connected and as we all know what we do to the earth we end up doing to ourselves.
I have no interest in living a life where I am confined and controlled. Self expression and exploration is really important to me, that and having a community that believes in the same, around me. I have connected with that community these last few months and we have began planning for how we can hold on to those things.
I am well aware of how things may turn out, if we allow the governments to continue as they are doing. We all need to make decisions so that we can hold on to what is left of our freedom. As a mother I want my children to continue to grow up in creative environment, where they can move freely and interact with those around them.
At the moment I live in a valley, with a community of people who are spread out and not always interacting with one another. Every summer there is also a shortage of water, so I would very much like to find somewhere to live where there is an abundance of water, so that I can grow more food.
Within my community, the community that has come together since the lockdown, are a few families that wish to start a small eco village. So my vision for the future is very much, around making that happen. We would need quite a large piece of land, that has water and that suit all of our needs.
Luckily, most of our needs are similar, the most important being water and having enough space to grow food and have our own plots, where we can create the living spaces that we desire. Included would be an communal space and healing space. The idea is that those who live with us are committed to working on themselves and sharing their skills within the community.
Having a space for our children is a must, a space that they create/design, build and take care of.
The land would also be used, to facilitate home educated families to come and share, learn and create together. It is for important that our children grow up with healing being a natural part of their environment and that they learn natural healing skills alongside their parents/families.
All of us want to focus more on our relationship with the earth and create opportunities where we can share this healing with others. This is why we wish to create a healing space, where workshops can be held and healing facilitated, for us and the earth.
At the moment, we are very much envisioning and manifesting. We have a core group that are working on a proposal, to help us raise the money we need,to create our healing community and we have no doubt that it will happen. We do not believe that a current lack of money will stop us from achieving our vision.
Because what we want to create, is something that we can share with others. With all the restrictions and negativity within the world right now, we need to focus on positive solutions. Creating safe spaces where people can come and connect with nature. To explore the many ways in which they can re wild ourselves. Were we can connect with our inner power!

Weaving to feel,
weaving to explore
we are women who weave,

for all the hurt we have met,
weaving power
and strength,
weaving light
from within,
weaving new creations
weaving to begin,
weaving from the earth,
connecting from below,
weaving our intentions,
so that all,
will be in flow.

Your words comfort me, I understand very well what you are talking about, we share the same idea here, we have been living tied to the reality that society has created for us and we are tired, when all we want is our plot, water and forget about the world. There are things that we must go looking for and without a doubt it is the return to "wild life", "Life in the wild".
Yes rewilding, that is my path and one that has brought me great healing, ultimately returning to self. Thank you @auelitairene xxxxx
