I've been waiting for someone to host a macro photography contest on HIVE, and just recently I found that @photofeed is doing just that. A small butterfly was perched on the grass when I purposefully wandered over to the grassy area in search of some interesting insects to shoot. This is a species of butterfly from the family Lycaenidae and is commonly called the lesser grass blue.
At the same spot, I also noticed this adorable Parker's thread-waisted wasp. It made a funny gesture when it perched on the grass. Its face was covered in white furs, and its eyes were pitch black. This wasp belongs to the family Sphecidae .
Not sausage bits, just dragonfly eggs, are included here. That is easy prey for black ants; therefore, they typically swarm there.
