"Please, do not disturb!" It was the gesture of these two little creatures. Yes, they are copulating in the bush. Just like other insects in the order Lepidoptera, they also mate in a back-to-back style.
This is the skipper butterfly, commonly called the lesser dart (Potanthus omaha), which is classified in the family Hesperiidae. This species was first described by an English entomologist, H. Edwards, in 1863.
These photos were taken when I was in a lokal forest of North Aceh some time ago.
