Thunder Point Sunset

I was heading down to Warrnambool to watch the new Fast and Furious movie at the cinemas and decided that we should leave a little earlier so that I could check out Thunder Point.

I hadn't visited this rock formation before, and thought this would be the perfect time to go!

It didn't look like there was going to be any colour in the sunset, and I didn't want to miss the movie, but decided to stay a little longer anyway.

The sky didn't pop, but some colour did manage to break through at sunset and I got this image that I was really happy with!

If you were wondering, I didn't miss the movie, (which was really good) and I got an image I was happy with!

I am extremely lucky to live so close to places like this, and with uni starting in march, i'll be able to visit the coast a lot more as I will already be in town!

The coast line where you live is absolutely gorgeous Ben! I think it's brilliant that you can go on a shoot, and then catch a film in the same outing. So cool. :)

Thanks Cath! Most of the cool formations down here are within 20 minutes of a town! This one is less than 5 minutes from the town centre!

Nice shot mate! These unshot compositions are the ones you get the most enjoyment from!

Thanks Tyson! I really want to shoot here under the Milky Way later this year!
