the greatest aspect about working in a studio is the control. Usually you have the time and liberty to do virtually everything :)
but there is that other thing where you need all that equipment :D
i did want to do more street photography as it can be a lot of fun and consensual could help in social skills. my place of residence is not really a place for interesting street photography (or maybe i just don't find it interesting) so i mostly done it on vacations.
and i like more candid photos but that could just be my character and not being comfortable with asking people for photos :D

While I own some pro level lights, I keep only the absolute minimum to do what I do :)
Where I live renting a proper photo studio costs between EUR 15-50 per hour so for a properly paying customer it's all great and practically always available :)
Another interesting observation I have, over my own behavior, totally against all logic, I feel better when I do street photography when I travel abroad. Somehow people are more interesting far from home :D
