Croatia Trip from 2021: Day 2

We visited Dubrovnik, Croatia (formerly known as Ragusa, referring to its rocks). The town is situated on the Adriatic Sea with its beautiful harbor and city walls for protection. I hope you enjoy the pictures of this city which is rich in history and beautiful architecture.

A good Gelato is always a happy time

Epic mate. I plan to sail there one day ;-)

I think I enjoyed being on a boat there more than the Caribbean it was so fun to have so much history waiting at each port

That said I think the Caribbean is more suited to being on a small boat as you go there for the small reefs and atols and mountain hinterlands rather than the large ports.

Makes sense

Yep I could imagine.

Thank you for taking me back there with your great pictures. Could you still feel anything from the Game Of Thrones hype there? I was in Dubrovnik in 2012 (and made a post as well), this was BEFORE the great hype. My best experience was a guided kajak tour to the Lokrum Island.

It seems like they still had Game of Thrones centric stuff but I'm not sure since I wouldn't pay attention much since i have never watched it.

Very interesting works. Greetings from Poland

Yay we get to see your awesome pictures of Croatia and look at your formatting-- Very nice!!
