God loves all of us as long as He is the one who created us. God loves us a lot and listens to us whenever we call upon him. Well, it’s sad that it isn’t everyone God listens to. There are some set of people that God doesn’t listen to and they are idol worshippers.
Worshipping idols simply means that they are worshipping other gods aside from the real God who created us. Once you begin to worship other gods, it means you don’t believe in God anymore so there is no reason why you should ask God for something.
Let’s read the book of Corinthians 2, 6:14,Be ye not equally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light against darkness?
God is light and idols are darkness so there should be no relationship between light and darkness. This is the basic reason why God won’t answer them when they call even though we all know that He is a merciful God. What’s better between light and darkness? It’s light and that’s God so we should make sure to always follow his way.
In 2 Corinthians 6:17, God said, Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
God will only receive those who accept him as their Lord. Acceptance should not even be an acceptable word in this situation because we have to know and understand that God is our real God.
If you are the type who wants God to answer you whenever you call unto Him, make sure not to practice idolatry and I know for sure that our merciful God who you run to will surely save you in those tough times that you were.
