A single Christian woman look unto the things of the Lord, how you can serve the Lord and how you can serve other people. Serving other people can also be the same as being financially responsible to other people and also helping them in any way we can. For example, I’m a single lady and this kind of advise is for me and every other single lady here.
In the book of 1 Corinthians 7:32- 34, the Bible says, But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belongs to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:
But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife
There is difference also between a wife and a virgin.
The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
This is an order from the Lord for us to be holy and keep our body holy. Most importantly, we have to say no to premarital sex. These days, so many ladies are not married but are involved in premarital sex. This is happening too much but it is not something that the Lord wants.
Also, the fact that this is about Christian ladies does not mean it doesn’t affect the men too. Once you are single and not betrothed or married to anyone, it’s important to keep the body holy.
As a single woman, you have to please the Lord by doing the things that he wants you to do.
