The word “the house of God” get so confusing especially to so many people. Some say that the house of God is just any church but it has been stated clearly in the Bible.
If we check the book of Acts 17:24, the Bible says; The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man.
God is not that small that we will expect him to be living in a temple that is created or built by just anyone. Well, we can regard a good church as the household of God but not the house of God because God cannot live in anywhere that is built by man.
In 1 Timothy 3:15, the Bible says; If I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.
So, how do we act in the household of God? How do we act accordingly? We can do that by following tge doctrines of Christ in and outside the Church. God never wants us to engage in some things in the church.
The reason why we go to church is to worship the Lord and also pray. Every Christian is expected to be able to pray well and especially, pray in church because that is what we are expected to do in church.
Furthermore, God loves it so much when we pray unto him. That’s to show that we have no other god and there is no one who can answer our prayers aside from him.
God answers prayers as long we pray with a pure heart and we do not think about the sadness, illness and hate in our hearts.
God is surely going to answer our prayers.
