Let’s read 1 Peter 3:3 which says, Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.
An average man is a man who mostly thinks about what people see. He mostly thinks about his appearance and how he appears to people. Any man who still has the right and inner man in him will think about the things that he orshe embodies. Such person is going to think about how and what God has asked us to do on earth.
Now it’s time to ask yourself. Do you still have your inner man in you? If you still have your inner man in you, you will follow the commandment of God that says we should help others or be our brother’s keeper.
Brother Eli used the story of a woman who left her husband as an example. She doesn’t have her inner man in her anymore and that’s why she left her husband and kids to be wayward.
Anyone who has his or her inner man will follow the rules and regulations of God, will be kind to the people around him and even render help to people who are in need.
If you do all of these, it means you still have your inner man in you and you’re still with God.
Jesus said in John 8:12 which says, I am the light of the world.
Whoever follows his way will never perish.
It’s never too late to follow the ways of Jesus.
