What Does The Bible Say About Forgive And Forget? || MCGI Topic Review.

As Brother Eli Soriano asked, Why do we remember the shortcomings of people, the sins of people, the ugly things that were done to us by people? It’s because we do not walk in love. As Christians, walking in love should be one of our greatest features. And as one of the Ten Commandments implies, “Love your neighbor as yourself”.

No matter what good someone has done to you, some people never forget the awful things you have done to them because there is a force that keeps bringing back the memory of the awful things you have done because that force wants to make you hate them so you wont have to forgive them for what they have done to you.

1 John 13:15 says, Whosoever hateth his brother is a muderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him

Satan works in a way by preserving the hate in our heart and renewing it everyday so that we will never forget those who have sinned against us. All of the irritation, hatred and anger we face is the handwork of Satan and we should never allow him in our lives.

Ephesians 4:32 says; And be ye kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you

That’s it! This is the rule of law that God has given us when it comes to forgiving one another and we just have to follow it even though we are not pleased with it and when we do, God will be happy with us and he will as well forgive us of our shortcomings.
