We must not make it sound unjust in your mind if things that are evil happen to those who are good and things that are good happen to those who are evil.
In the book of Ecclesiastes 9:2, the Bible says; All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.
What is the justice in this? It is that there are people who perceive in their minds that things that happen to a person is not the thing which is supposed to happen to him maybe because the person is basically considered to be a good person.
Also, God is always just and he practices what we know as justice all the time. And we have to know that the justice of God is served not only in this life but heaven as well.
The book of John 5:28-29 says; Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
This means there is truly a day called the “judgement day” where all the dead will arise and the ones who are evil will reap what they have sowed.
Now, heaven is the goal and we should know that. The only things that matters in life is our behaviors and actions which will determine where we go to either heaven or earth after our demis on the judgement day.
