One of the things that have always given me concern over the years even though I am a Christian is that I constantly search through what can I do to pleases the Lord. Don't get me wrong, we all grew up understanding the fact that when you live a holy life, you are pleasing the Lord and not only that but when you are able to have faith.
But I have always knew that there is still much more to it and I came across the video made by Brother Eli regarding that topic and I must confess that I was really able to learn a lot and which I will be sharing with you today.
Brother Eli started by establishing the fact that it is only the Son which in the entire universe that actually pleases the God the most and that at first caught me by surprise. But Brother Eli went further to explained what He was trying to pass through and that I really understand.
He said it is only people who have learnt to know and understand God that pleases God. I learnt that It is God that is capable of executing lovingkindess and righteousness upon the earth. And that is whenever we live a life of righteousness, God is always pleased.
Heb.13.15 - Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
Heb.13.16 - But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
What Brother Eli said which I was able to pick as that which stands with me is the fact that when we share the things we have in regards to either sacrifices, knowledge or even wisdom or sharing salvation to others, God is pleased. These are the things that actually pleases God which make God happy.
2Cor.9.7 - So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
2Cor.9.8 - And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Lastly, one of the things I was able to learn is the fact that if we have someone who is a cheerful giver, it pleases God.
