This is the summary of the lesson learnt, kindly watch the video via this link below,
What are the important points we have learned from God's words discussed in the Zoom meeting?
I learnt that being a preacher doesn't mean that you should not work, they should engage themselves in any occupation of their choice. The Ministers of God are not prohibited to work, there is no book in the bible supporting such. You have to engage yourself with work or business to meet your needs and feed your family, being a Preacher doesn't hinder this.
Matthew 6:24 One cannot serve two masters, he will choose one, same as having God and Mammon, you will also choose one. Doing your own work aside the ministry does not have anything to do with this. Your work is not a "Mammon".
I learnt that working with your two hands, laboring is very okay and acceptable as a minister of God.
The full knowledge of the son is in father and also the full knowledge of the father is in son. Christ is a true Son of God and there is no divinity in him.
The Jehovah witnesses claimed that "Jesus is a man", that Christ was created which is not in the Bible, because the
bible only indicated that "He was begotten" and was with God since the very beginning.
Proverbs 8:22-30 Before the creation of anything Christ is with God. When God was making everything else, Christ was there.
In Proverb 8:1-3, wisdom is the one speaking here. When something is inanimate, it is referred to making use of the feminine gender. That's why wisdom is described as "She".
I learnt that Christ is the wisdom of God as established in bible text Luke 11:49. Jesus Christ is the one who called out the Apostles and send them, therefore he is the wisdom of God(Matthew 10:2-5).
The feminine approach "She" was used to describe "The Wisdom" which is Jesus because Jesus Christ was manifested in flesh(1 Corinthians 1:24).
I also learnt that before our earth was been created, God has his own earth(a dwelling place) where he was together with "The Wisdom, Jesus Christ".
1 Corinthians 2:6-8 We speak the wisdom of God, the one who has been ordained by God. This wisdom was crucified.
I learnt that "All things were created through wisdom"(Psalms 104:24).
If someone is blind, even when there is light placed in front of him, he will not be able to see, so also are some preachers who perverse the truth and had wrong interpretation, even though they see the truth, they rather shut their eyes to it and refused to accept it.
John 1:1-3 Christ is also the word of God which was with God from the beginning, with him he created everything, all things were created because he was there. The word of God which is 'Jesus Christ' also has other names: "KING OF KINGS&LORD OF LORDS".
I learnt that through faith, the world is created by the word of God. God made things that were seen with things unseen.
It is difficult to perverse this because the truth is so obvious and proved.
What are our old beliefs or expectations that were improved by listening in the Zoom meeting?
My old belief is that God existed in space(in the air) before he commence the creation, but now I know that God had a earth where he dwells with Christ before creating this earth that we are.
How does the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives?
In all things proved by the word of God, I am certain that Jesus is not a man. He is the Wisdom and The word with which everything was created. Therefore I should not believe those perversing the word saying Jesus is a man!
We are inviting you to join the MCGI Cares (Hive) community that study the words of God and also earn some reward by making our reactions on it. We can check this link https://peakd.com/c/hive-182074/trending
Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.
MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.
II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
