IMPORTANT POINTS LEARNT FROM THE WORD OF GOD DISCUSSED:
It is very lovely and responsible among brethen to forgive one another. If anyone is found sinning, we should pray for such person rather than mocking such person. Praying with a clean heart is very important because the prayer of a righteous man is God's delight.
Luke 4: 25-27 The fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Therefore if a righteous man has not started praying, God is eager to answer him.
There is difference between a righteous man and Saints that are dead. The Saints that are dead lived their lives righteously when they were alive and will be raised up at the last day when Christ shall come.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16).
Praying for one another is very essential, If we noticed a brother committing sin, we should take it upon ourselves to pray for such fellow, as Daniel did.
Daniel 9:22-23, 6:10 Daniel prayed with his windows opened and kneeled down towards the temple, facing Jerusalem.
The prayer of Daniel is for the sinners, he seek forgiveness for his people "Israel".
There is a family/household of God in heaven and here on earth. The household of God here on earth is the Church of God. (1 Timothy 3:15).
God does not dwell in temples made with hands but He dwells in a particular house and that house is built by Solomon which is called the house of prayer. Acts 17:24, Isaiah 56:7.
Also God dwells in men because in the bible the body of men is referred to as "God's temple". 1 Corinthians 3:16.
God dwells in the Church not temple built by man with cement or roof. The church is a congregation of men that are prayerful. We have an high priest in the household of God and this High priest is our Lord Jesus Christ.
God always hear the prayer of the upright no matter the medium used to gather together. Due to civilization, we can now gather to pray and study the word of God via Social media making use of computer or phone.
There is big difference between disciplines and doctrines.
An example of disciple is "offing of shoes before entering the temple of God". Exodus 3:5.
Another example of discipline is "Facing the east side whenever we want to pray". Because the glory of God(Sun) starts from the EAST. Ezekiel 43:2.
Meanwhile, all these disciplines are needed to carry out doctrines in the Church of God.
There are benefits in Praying with a pure heart:
- Our sins will be forgiven
- It is certain that God will hears us.
God is loving and not wicked that will inflicts or grieve you without a cause. Lamentations 3:33.
Anytime we have problem, it is a result of our wrong doing as such problem comes as punishment of our sins. There is no problem that is greater than God. Hebrews 13:5.
MY OLD BELIEFS OR EXPECTATION THAT ARE IMPROVED AFTER LISTENING TO THE WORD OF GOD:
- It is only the white garment church that has the discipline of "Offing shoes before entering the church".
- I have no idea of which direction to be faced while praying before this teaching, but now I know that we should face the "East".
HOW THE STUDY AFFECT ME TO MAKE ME A BETTER PERSON IN MY DEALINGS WITH PEOPLE DAILY:
- I will avoid Sinning, because it only brings problems to us, whenever we encounter any problem, it is the punishment of our sins.
- I will Pray for anyone sinning rather than mocking such fellow.
- If I keep a pure heart, my prayers will be heard by God and he will forgive me.
Thanks be to God.

Thanks be to God for listening on our meeting.
MCGI Cares (Hive) community's main mission is to share the words of God, not the Hive upvotes. If we get upvotes, please treat it as just a bonus. Do not focus mainly on material things as the bible is teaching us not to look at things seen but rather focus our eyes on things not seen.
II CORINTHIANS 4:18
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
