MCGI CARES MASS INDOCTRINATION HELD ON 01/02/2023. DAY 3
Good day friends and family of MCGI Cares Community. Thanks for visiting my blog today. I want to sincerely appreciate the efforts of the managements towards ensuring the mass indoctrination holds on daily basis. It's indeed a blessing to many, particularly I, and that I won't take for granted. And I pray that the lord will continue to strengthen the MCGI Cares Community Leaders.
Today being the 3rd day of the MCGI Cares mass indoctrination, I was able to learn that the word of God is not meant to make us attack anyone but to help us examine the true teachings of God according to Ecclesiastes 7:27. It is like a scale to help us weigh the true gospel of Christ.
It is also meant to give us knowledge of what is good and what is Evil. Therefore, as we listen to the word of God, we must be open to understand the message God is passing to us.
I also learnt that Prayer is also one of the doctrines of God. But the big question is; How do we pray?
God doesn't listen to the prayers of a sinner according to Proverb 15:8. Just as humans, we welcome and grant the request of those we love, probably because of their good deeds, but when the wicked come to us for help we turn our back on them. That is the same with God, God rejects the prayers of a sinner.
According to Mathew 6:8, Isiah 65:24, Before we could even pray, our father in heaven has already know what we are praying for. God already understands what we could ask of him even before we tender our request. Therefore, there is no point praying repetitively using the same words or statements because he knows our heart cry even before we utter it.
So how should we pray?
Ecclesiastes 5;1-2 and Mathew 6:5-6 made me understand that there are those praying to show off. The Bible calls them hypocrites. We are not expected to pray to show off to people by going to the street, instead we are to go into our closet and pray to our father who answer in secret and rewards openly.
According to Mathew 26:39 and Psalm 95:6, Jesus demonstrates the right posture during prayers. He knelt down in horizontal position while prying, which is an act of humility before God. Even the apostles bow with their face on the ground as a form of respect to God.
Lets say for instance, you visit the queen of England you need to bow when ever you're in her presence to show some act of respect and humility. So also, we need to show that act of respect and humility while praying to the almighty God who is above all men.
1 Corinthians 11:4 makes me understand that when a woman prays, she should have a cover on her head. But for men while praying they must not have a cover in their head. For you to do otherwise, it is an act of dishonor to God.
Because the woman is of the man for that reason the woman must cover her head as a sign of respect and honor to the head (authority).

Wow. I disagree with a lot of things here. First off, God never rejects the prayers of a sinner. If not, he'd not send Jesus to die. Secondly, God's mercies are infinite. He doesn't discriminate but that's by the way. We all have different versions of Who God is and what He is like. I guess that's what happens now. We have different perspectives.
