Hi People of God,
I'm contributing to the biblical question which says "How did Jesus cure the blind man in Bathsaida?"
Mark 8:22-26 And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man to him, and besought him to touch him.
Vs 23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he has spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
Vs 24 And he looked up, and said, i see men like trees, walking.
Vs 25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him looked up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
Vs 26 And he sent him away to his house, saying neither go into the town nor telling any in the town.
The very wisdom learnt from the terminology is that whenever there is an operation of the eyes to correct the way a person can see things especially those that are really blind and still have the capacity to see again.
If after the operation there will be the reopening of the eyes.
The terminology of taking the bondage from his eyes is making the person opening the eyes very slowly and then, the first sight will be not as cleared as quick.
Moreso, the terminology is to leave the eyes for a while slowly until it can see clearly.
For the eyes is an organ that triggers light. After the removal of bondage, we must not allow it to get to the light because one may destroy it again. So, it must be done gradually. That is the WISDOM there. The LORD Jesus Christ did not let the eyes see clearly as it could at first. But on the second touch of his hand the man has clearly seen every man. The reason is to protect the eyes with his touch by allowing a slow entrance of light.
There must be slow introduction of light. Until after being a custom to the darkness, he can now perceive if there is small light from the darkness. For example, you can from dark place or situation entering into them light suddenly and you will need to cover your eyes against it's rays to avoid blindness.
That is what our LORD Jesus Christ has done to the man. So, at the very first of opening, he could that like trees men are walking. Then Jesus touched it again by closing the eyes of the man and at the second time removed his hands.
And gradually the man have seen men clearly.
That is what happened at verse 25. A lot of us really need the reopening of our sight to open the sight of the blind also.
Thanking God for the WISDOM and the reopening of our spiritual sight and understanding by the Servant of God.
