"Is Mary a descendant of David or Aaron? (Part 1 of 3)"
The question is how does the scriptures support the claims about blessed Mary Davidic descend?
How could she have descended from David's lineage or Judah's tribe when she is the fact Cousin of Elizabeth who was one of the daughters of the Levite Aaron?
Can you tell me a verse in the bible that will prove that Levite is a pure race?
Just like African race. who now can tell that I am pure African race except the haters who also know the origin of Africa.
But there is a word intermingling, to read the entire bible.
In the descendants of Abraham, there was an intermingling of the races of the tribes of Israel.
You are considered as the Levite because you belong unto the sons of Aaron.
But on the woman's side, you are not sure.
Why is because there are instances that the daughters of the Levites can marry from another tribes in the bible. Many are the instances like that.
Of course, the question seems to me like the question of an unbelieving person.
Why is because I am a believer of God's words.
The book of Matthew was written with the inspiration of the Holy Ghost.
"Matthew 1:18-24. Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost"
"Verse 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily"
"Verse 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife; for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost."
"Verse 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name JESUS; for he shall save his people out of their sins."
"Verse22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,"
"Verse 23 Behold, a virgin shall be with a child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."
That is the story of our LORD Jesus Christ in the flesh.
Now, the question is how could she have descended from the David's lineage and Judah's tribe when she is in the fact Cousin of Elizabeth who was one of the daughters of the levite Aaron?
Elizabeth was one of the daughters of Levite Aaron.
It doesn't matter because Mary is the Cousin of Elizabeth then Mary is a Levite.
There are instances where a Cousin is mixed up with another tribes.
If you believe in the bible, our LORD Jesus Christ came from the tribe of Judah.
And that is recorded in the book of;
"Hebrews 7:14 For it is evident that our LORD sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood."
So, we are now speaking of the flesh, because the twelve tribes of Israel are being mentioned. And the tribes that were devided into twelve were the twelve sons of Jacob (Israel).
Now, if the LORD Jesus Christ came from the tribe of Judah,
the question is the lineage of Judah when she is that Cousin of Elizabeth who was one of the daughters of Levite Aaron.
