Romans 2:4 says:Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
According to the bible, there are a lot of people who doesn't know that God is the one leading them.
When a person have the desire to discover or do the things of God,then that is the work of God,so we should give importance to it,we should not ignore it.
Philippians 2:13 says: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
God is the one who gives us the desire for us to have the intention to do good because naturally, the desire of man is focused on earthly things. Man doesn't have the desire to seek the things which are above.
Colossians 3:1 says:If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 says:Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
So many people today set their minds on the money they have in the bank, some on the their wealth, some on their qualifications and some on other things.
So many of them if those things they put their mind today get destroy, they might not be able to with stand the shock, some may give up. But when we set our minds on the things above even if those things are destroyed,we can not be shaken because we have Christ, and when we have Christ we have peace of mind.
So as christains,we should set our minds on the things above because those earthly things will perish one day and if God doesn't give us life we will not live.
Acts 17:26 says: And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 says: That they should seek the Lord,if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.
28 says: For in him we live, and move, and have our being;as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring.
So it our obligation to seek our creator because God is not far if we seek him but to those who don't him they are the ones who are far from God.
Isaiah 65:1 says:I AM sought of them that asked not for me;I am found of them that sought me not:I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
So which ever race we may come from,it is God's commandment for us to seek him because seeking God will do us alot of good.
