I learnt that praying is not something simply done.
Jesus Christ has a discipline when it comes to prayer.
Prayer is making known our request or petition to God.
Making known our request should be couple with thanksgiving.
Our prayer should be brief and we should ask what we need at that particular time.
Philippians 4:6 says:Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Acts 1:24 says: And they prayed, and said,Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men,shew whether of these two thou hast chosen.
25 says: That he may take part of this ministry and apostlship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.
26 says: And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
If we believe that whatsoever thing we ask from God that we shall receive them,then we should thank God in advance.
Mark 11:24 says: Therefore I say unto you, what things soever you desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Prayer is asking from God and not story telling or repetitive.
God is always ready to listen to our prayers.
In everything we do,we should always pray.
So many people only pray on their birthday or when they are sick, others pray to God when they are in difficult times, but
when it is well with them and they are comfortable, calling on God become a history.
In the church of God before we do anything,we should pray because we do not know what will happen at any given time.
2 Timothy 1:3 says:I thank God,whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;
Praying to God day and night will do us a lot of good. A prayer should be simple because God is not slow to understand.
We do not need to repeat a prayer or make it long.
Even before we speak,God has already answered.
Matthew 6:8 says:Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.
For our prayers to be answered,we should depart from evil. We should call on God with a Pure heart.
2 Timothy 2:22 says:Flee also youthful lusts: but follow rightousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
The ears of God is always open to the prayer of the upright.
God is delighted when the righteous pray.
Proverbs 15:8 says: The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
It is necessary that our hear is void of offence towards God and towards our fellow man so that our prayer will be heard by God.
Acts 24:16 says: And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
When we leave our evil ways, God will listen to us when we call upon him.
And for God to listen to our prayer,we should obey him.

This is another excuse brother,my camera was on till the end of the meeting.you people are preaching against partiality but you are the same people showing partiality in this platform.whether you vote my post or not,it will not discourage me from posting what i understand from each teaching by brother Eli or brother Daniel.
