POINTS OF WHAT I LEARNED.
I learned that not all spiritual songs are from God.The devil also convey wrong spirit through songs. All songs contains spirit,so we should be careful of the kind songs we listen to.
Spiritual songs contains the spoken words of our Lord Jesus Christ which are spirit and life. Spiritual songs should be use as a reminder or exhortation to the brethren. The word of God should be contained in our spiritual songs.
Spiritual songs are those songs that contains the doctrines of God. There are spiritual songs that are good but contains evil. Spiritual songs should be in accordance to the word of God. Spiritual songs should be edifying. Spiritual songs contains doctrines and encourages the body.
Spiritual songs from God brings forth the revelation of the word. Spiritual songs enables us to have true communion with God and worship Him in spirit and in truth. Spiritual songs edify_we stay encouragd and build up in the Lord.
Spiritual songs from God causes us to be conscious of God's indwelling presence. If we are conscious that Christ is living in us, it's bound to affect the way we live. It is God's plan that we be filled with His spirit and speak forth in Psalms, Hymns and spiritual songs.
Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual songs are ways to get closer to God. We must take note of the fact that when we sing spiritual songs,we are not only praising God, making Melody in our hearts to Him, but we are also speaking to one another, teaching and admonishing one another as the word of says in Colossians 3:16.
Making Melody in our hearts to God and speaking to one another is the two-fold place that singing has in the church. We speak to one another and teach and admonish one another in our singing.
One way for the word of God to dwell in us is through Psalms, Hymns and Spiritual songs. We should avoid the danger of singing what is false. Many man-made hymns and songs often teach error.
I also learned that God has not given us the spirit of fear but the spirit of adoption. The devil uses the spirit of fear to separate us from God.
Once we made a mistake,we should not avoid God but we should acknowledge our sins and ask for forgiveness from God. When we know the spirit that is leading us, we have to draw closer to God. We should not allow ourselves to be led by another spirit that will bring us another father. We should not abuse the goodness of God in our lives. When we sin,we should not be ashamed to draw closer to God.

HOW DOES THE STUDY AFFECT ME.
The study has taught me that it is the spirit of adoption that draw us closer to God.
